The purpose of the referendum is to prioritize the safety of students and staff while facilitating necessary school expansion to create an environment conducive to a high-quality education for every person.
The Capital Improvements provide additional local support to match state market pressure funds for the previously approved projects:

- Expand North Elementary School
The Operating Expenses would allow the Smyrna School District to:
- Recruit and hire constables for every school building
