The Smyrna School District is committed to providing a safe, high-quality education for all students and this operational referendum is essential to achieving that goal. Passage of the referendum provides the district the funds needed to recruit and retain talented teachers, enhance school safety, support current and future programs/extracurricular activities, such as high school band uniforms, clubs and sports at the new middle school, and improve instructional technology for students to keep the promise of one device for each child. Additionally, this funding will help cover rising operational costs, ensuring the district can continue to meet the needs of students and families.
